The North East provides high adventure for angling and variety of fish for enthusiasts. Since the days of the British Raj, Assam has been famous for angling tours. It has magnificent sparkling waters that swirl down the rugged mountain valleys and then through the fiery rapids, to join the mighty River Brahmaputra. These are also waters for the legendary Indian 'Mahseer', the largest fresh water fish in the world. In this tour, we will also take you through the sights and sounds of this beautiful region surrounded by the mighty Himalayas, as you will also enjoy some gaming at the Nameri and Kaziranga National Parks.

Day 01 : ARRIVE GUWAHATI EX KOLKATA

Upon arrival from Kolkata you are received at Guwahati airport and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to explore this gateway city. Guwahati, the biggest city of Assam, is treated as The Gateway to the Northeast India and the most important destination in the entire Northeast. Located on the bank of the Brahamaputra river, it is the largest commercial, industrial and educational center of the region. In the evening, you set out on a River cruise to watch the sun go down the river and see yourself why the river is locally called 'Luit'- color of blood. Dinner & overnight is at the resort.

Day 02 : ANGLING CAMP NAMERI: NATIONAL PARK, ANGLING

After an early breakfast, drive for Eco Camp inside the Nameri national Park. Located 208km from Guwahati. Reach Eco Camp. Checking in at your respective cottages. After lunch, with your naturalist, go rafting on Bhoroli River, the famous Angling spot in this part of India, in search of the Golden Mahsheer. Return to Eco camp for dinner & overnight.

Day 03 : ANGLING CAMP NAMERI: ELEPHANT RIDE, RAFTING, ANGLING

Early morning you go on Elephant back ride inside the National Park. You return to camp for breakfast, followed by a drive to the angling site with your naturalist guide. The spots on Bhoroli known as angler's paradise. These spots are the natural habitat of Golden Mahsheer, the dream catch of anglers. Picnic lunch on the Angling site. Raft on the placid waters of the river. You return to Camp by the evening with the day’s catch for dinner & overnight.

Day 04 : ANGLING CAMP NAMERI: TIPI ORCHIDARRIUM, ANGLING

After an early breakfast you drive with your naturalist to Bhalukpung and visit the Orchid farm at Tipi. This farm, with a collection of 7500 orchids, has been set up to study the botanical paradise - the orchids of Arunachal Pradesh. Return to camp for an early lunch and proceed on to angling site for some more catch for the day. Return to camp in the evening for dinner & overnight.

Day 05 : KAZIRANGA: NATIONAL PARK, RHINO

After an early breakfast, you drive to Kaziranga (158km), the place of Mother Nature. Upon arrival we check into our hotel. After lunch day is at leisure to explore innocent lives of the villagers of a nearby tribal village. Dinner & overnight at camp.

Day 06 : KAZIRANGA: ELEPHANT SAFARI, RHINO

Early morning you undertake an elephant safari with your naturalist guide, to explore the central area of Kaziranga National park. Riding an Elephant through the park chasing a unicorn rhino along with a wide range of rare species is something to remember for the rest of our lives. You return to your lodge for lunch and later in the afternoon take jeep safari with a naturalist to the central area of the park. Returning late evening for dinner & overnight at the lodge at Kaziranga.

Day 07 : DIBRUGARH: ADIVASI VILLAGE, TEA ESTATE

After an early morning game drive with your friendly naturalist, in safari jeeps, to the park. You return to your lodge for breakfast and proceed to drive to Dibrugarh, which is located at 230km. This drive will take apprx 6 hrs.. Upon arrival at Dibrugarh you check in, in a century old host bungalow inside a Tea garden. After refreshment you are accompanied by a naturalist to visit a tea garden and get an insight of the lifestyle of Tribal in the tea estate. Evening enjoy the night falling with spring scent in open verandah of the host bunglow. Dinner & overnight at bunglow.

Day 08 : BOLENG - RIVER CROSSING, ANGLING CAMP

This morning you cross the mighty River Brahmaputra by ferry to reach Pasighat, in Arunachal Pradesh (170km from Dibrugarh across the river). After lunch at Pasighat drive to Boleng (65km from Pasighat). You arrive Boleng angling camp site and check into your individual tents. Dinner & overnight at the angling site.

Day 09 : BOLENG - ANGLING

After an early breakfast you are escorted by your naturalist to the angling spot, not very far from the camp. Picnic lunch at the site of angling. Full day at Boleng. Evening return to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 10 : BOLENG - ANGLING

After an early breakfast at the camp you drive to Pangin (20km) for some more angling. Lunch is set on the riverside. Evening return to camp for dinner & overnight.

Day 11 : YAMBUM - ANGLING

After an early morning breakfast at the camp you drive with your naturalist to Yambum (15km from Pangin) another popular angling site. Spend the day for angling. Picknic lunch at the anglisg site. In the evening you visit a local tribal village to partake in their cultural feast. Return to camp for dinner & overnight at the circuit house.

Day 12 : DIBRUGARH

After a leisurely breakfast drive to Dibrugarh (200km). You will b served packed lunch enroute. Upon arrival you will be transferred to The Bunglow. Rest of the day at leisure to explore the Tea Gardens. Dinner & overnight is at The Bungalow.

Day 13 : DIBRUGARH – ONWARD DESTINATION

After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your onward destination.
