KUCHING (B/L/-)

DAY 3 Discover the flora and fauna of Borneo. Depart for a one-day tour of BAKO NATIONAL PARK (lunch inclusive). The primary forest is indented with beautiful rock formations, steep cliffs and sandy bays. Pitcher plants, monitor lizards, proboscis monkeys, silver leaf monkeys, wild boars and others are found in the park.

KUCHING – LEMANAK (B/L/D)

DAY 4 Meet the natives of Borneo and spend an unforgettable night with them in a longhouse. The journey takes you 250 kilometres into the beautiful countryside. On arrival at the jetty, board native longboats and head up the river to meet the Ibans. In the evening, the natives will perform their traditional war dance in full ceremonial regalia. Dinner and overnight at guesthouse / longhouse.

LEMANAK - KUCHING – MIRI (B/L/-)

DAY 5 After breakfast join the Ibans in a blowpipe demonstration. Then return to Kuching airport and fly to Miri. Transfer to hotel.

MIRI – MULU (B/L/-)

DAY 6 After breakfast, depart to the Miri airport for 35-minute flight to Mulu National Park. On arrival, you will be transferred to Royal Mulu Resort****. After check-in and lunch (lunch is not available if pax arrives after 1:00 PM), transfer to the National Park Headquarters for registration. From here, embark on a 45-minute walk along a plank-walk to Lang Cave. Explore the cave, followed by Deer Cave and the Garden of Eden. Afterwards, witness the exit of bats from the caves and then transfer back to your hotel.

MULU (B/L/-)

DAY 7 After breakfast in your hotel, depart by longboat to visit Wind Cave and Clearwater Cave with picnic lunch en route. Afterwards return to the airport for your departure flight (airfare not included in package price).

After all these impressions, we recommend to extend your stay at the Holiday Inn Damai Beach Resort, where you can relax on the sandy beach or in one of the pools.

Our package tour prices are inclusive of transportation, English speaking guide, meals as specified (B=Breakfast, L=Lunch, D=Dinner), entrance fees and boat fees and 6 nights hotels accommodation.

Not included are meals not mentioned in itinerary, drinks consumption during meals, video or camera fee imposed by the national park, personal expenditure, other optional tours, airfares and airport taxes.

Notes
All boat transfers and activities in the park and longhouse are on Seat-in-coach basis. Hotels can be changed without prior notice, substitution will be within the offered category. Please note that all tours will be offered as stated in the package program, but some tours may be done on different days than stated in the program. For example, city tour stated on Day 1 can be changed to Day 3 without prior notice.

Small deviations in the tour program are sometimes necessary, depending on road conditions and availability of rooms.
