ITINERARY:
DAY 1 FRI Upon arrival at Chiang Mai airport, transfer to your hotel in Chiang Mai. In the evening, we invite you for a typical Chiang Mai dinner at “Just Khao Soy” Restaurant (choice of meat and vegetarian dishes are available). Afterwards, visit the famous Night Bazaar and transfer back to your hotel in Chiang Mai.
DAY 2 SAT Breakfast. Transfer by local songtaw (provided by the school) to the Massage School. Classroom Hours: 09.00-16.00 hrs Lunch Break: 11.45-13.00 hrs (vegetarian lunch at school’s canteen) Class schedule: Introduction to school and effective learning process Hand and Knee exercise Demonstration and practice on each lesson Lesson 1: Hand position in Thai Massage Lesson 2: Leg massage Lesson 3: Arm and Hand massage Lesson 4: Abdominal massage Lesson 5: Back massage on side lying
DAY 3 SUN Breakfast. Transfer by local songtaw (provided by the school) to the Massage School. Classroom Hours: 09.00-16.00 hrs Lunch Break: 11.45-13.00 hrs (vegetarian lunch at school’s canteen) Class schedule: Hand and Knee exercise Lesson 6: Back massage face down Lesson 7: Face and Head massage Lesson 8: Shoulder and Neck massage Written exam ( 20 minutes) Supervised practice massage in pair 1 hour if time permit. Pressure strength test with teacher. Discussion and review of particular techniques
Transfer to Chiang Mai airport for your departure flight (please book a flight departing Chiang Mai after 18:30 hrs).
TEACHING PROCESS: Demonstration performs in details explanation on each technique. Students pair up to practice under closed teachers’ supervision. At the end of the day, the teachers will response to students’ questions on particular techniques and review them in the group. Teachers will perform pressure strength test with each student to ensure quality and safety in Thai Foot Massage. Massage charts are provided in each class to assist during demonstration and practice.
NOTE: During supervised practice, the teachers assist and correct students’ performance to ensure proper massage techniques and for safety. The teachers will evaluate students’ ability to perform each lesson during the training.
Remark: Sequence of class schedule subject to minor change according to circumstances. However, the content and the effectiveness remain the same.
