Joint tour: Daily departure from city hotel in Kota Kinabalu with English speaking guide (minimum 2 persons).

KOTA KINABALU – MULU (B/L/-)

DAY 3 After breakfast, depart to the airport for a 35-minute flight to Mulu National Park. On arrival you will be transferred to Royal Mulu Resort. Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant outside the resort (lunch provided if only clients arrive at the park before 1:00 PM). After lunch, depart for a visit to Deer and Lang Caves. Venturing towards the park headquarters you will take an approximately 45-minute walk along a tilted wooden plank path through peat swamp forest leading to Lang Cave. Explore this beautiful cave followed by the Deer Cave and wait to witness the exit of the bats (if weather permits), then return to the resort for overnight.

MULU – KUCHING (B/L/-)

DAY 4 After breakfast in your hotel, depart by longboat to visit Wind Cave and Clearwater Cave with picnic lunch en route. Afterwards, transfer to the airport for a flight to Kuching. On arrival in Kuching, transfer to hotel.

KUCHING – LEMANAK RIVER (B/L/D)

DAY 5 Meet the natives of Borneo and spend an unforgettable night with them in the longhouse. The journey takes you 250-km into beautiful countryside, with scenic stops along the way. On arrival at the jetty, board native longboats and head up the river to meet the Ibans. In the evening, the natives will perform their traditional war dance in full ceremonial regalia. Dinner and overnight in the longhouse/guesthouse.

LEMANAK RIVER  - KUCHING (B/L/-)

DAY 6 After breakfast join the Ibans in a blowpipe demonstration and visit their farms. Then return to your hotel in Kuching.

KUCHING (B/-/-)

DAY 7 Transfer to airport for the flight to your next destination.

Our package tour prices are inclusive of transportation, English speaking guide, meals as specified (B=Breakfast, L=Lunch, D=Dinner), entrance & boat fees, 1 night accommodation in the longhouse/guesthouse and 5 nights hotels accommodation.

Not included are meals not mentioned in itinerary, drinks consumption during meals, video or camera fee imposed by the national park, personal expenditure or other optional tours.

Notes
All boat transfers, river cruise and tour activities are on Seat-in-coach basis. For all tours to Mulu, accommodation and breakfast in Royal Mulu Resort, lunch outside of the resort. Hotels can be changed without prior notice, substitution will be within the offered category. Please note that all tours will be offered as stated in the package program, but some tours may be done on different days than stated in the program. For example, city tour stated on Day 1 can be changed to Day 3 without prior notice.

Surcharge for pick up / drop off at beach resorts: USD 15 per person

Small deviations in the tour program are sometimes necessary, depending on road conditions and availability of rooms.
