ITINERARY

KUALA LUMPUR – CAMERON HIGHLANDS (-/-/-)

DAY 1 Depart from your hotel in Kuala Lumpur by 0900hrs, and drive towards Cameron Highlands, which is 1542 meters above sea level. Cameron Highlands is famous for its world-renowned tea. Along the way, we will stop and visit the famous Batu Caves where the shrine of the Hindu deity Lord Subramaniam is set within an outcrop of limestone caves. We will also stop at the Royal Selangor Pewter factory to view our famous Malaysian pewter. After which, we will proceed north to the Hill Resort of Cameron Highlands, making another en route stop to visit a cottage industry making bamboo baskets and the Lata Iskandar Waterfall. Upon arrival at the Cameron Highlands, check in hotel. Rest of the day is free at your own leisure. Overnight at STRAWBERRY PARK HOTEL or similar.

CAMERON HIGHLANDS - PENANG (B/-/-)

DAY 2 Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, proceed for a tour of Cameron Highlands visiting a tea plantation, tea factory, a vegetable farm and the market square. Following which, you will continue the journey and drive towards Penang. En route visits along the way include the Sam Poh long Cave Temple in Ipoh, the Ubudiah Mosque, Iskandariah Palace and Istana Kenangan Museum. Cross over to Penang using the third longest bridge in the world arriving in the evening.

In the evening, you can visit the Esplanade of Gurney Drive for a taste of Penang's nightlife (optional). Overnight at THE HOLIDAY INN RESORT PENANG or similar hotel.

PENANG (B/-/-)

DAY 3 Breakfast at hotel. After which, proceed for a half day "Around Penang" tour with visits to a batik factory, a nutmeg and clove stall, the Snake Temple and Wat Chayamangskalaram Temple and the butterfly farm. The rest of the day is free at own leisure. Overnight at THE BAYVIEW BEACH RESORT or similar hotel.

PENANG (B/-/-)

DAY 4 Breakfast at hotel. At leisure until transfer to airport.

Our package tour prices are inclusive of 3 nights hotel accommodation, transfer from Kuala Lumpur City to Resort with an English speaking guide, meals as specified in the program (B=Breakfast, L=Lunch, D=Dinner) and sightseeing as specified in the program with an English speaking guide.

Not included are other meals not mentioned in the program, beverages consumed during meals, optional tours and expenditures of personal nature.

Peak season surcharge 01 July - 15 September: 23.50 USD per room / per night.

Small deviations in the tour program are sometimes necessary, depending on road conditions and availability of rooms.
